Description

A 50-metre Powermate brand extension cable reel for supplying mains power over long distances, ideal for larger sites and outdoor work.

Key Features & Benefits:
- 50m cable length for extended-reach power supply
- Reel housing with carry handle for easy transport and storage
- Multiple sockets for connecting several tools or appliances
- Heavy-duty cable rated for continuous power tool use

Primary Application:
Used on large construction sites, farms, and outdoor events where power is needed far from the main supply point.

At 50 metres, this reel is built for jobs where the power source is well away from the work area — larger construction sites, farm buildings, or outdoor events — and the heavy-duty cable rating means tools can still draw full power reliably even at that extended length. The reel housing includes a carry handle, making it easier to move a long run of cable between locations on a site without it becoming a tangled, unmanageable coil. Multiple output sockets allow several tools to be run from the one reel simultaneously, reducing the number of separate cable runs needed across a large work area. As with any long cable reel, it should be unwound fully before use under sustained load, since cable left coiled on the reel can overheat when carrying current over time.
